Today, we’re going to take another peak at what Atlanta has to offer that is in addition to the real estate that we have looked at so far and that we will go into in still more details.
This is the ephemeral cost of living index. One of Atlanta’s charms is that it is relatively inexpensive. What this really means is that an annual salary of $30,000 gets you more in Atlanta than it does in say, L.A..
Next, is for those of you who are more business minded: this is that the cost of establishing and running a business in the city of Atlanta is also lower than it is in many other parts of the nation. So, if you are abroad, and are trying to figure out how you are going to be able to afford getting your company’s foot in the American market an inexpensive location may make this more realistic for you. Or if you are an entrepeneur and you wish to keep costs down, then Atlanta is one great place for you to give running your own business a go for the first time.

Today we’re taking a look at another development within Atlanta. This one is a work-play-live area, meaning that the developers intend for it to fulfill all of your needs rather than only some of them.
Atlantic Station offers, two separate towers for people to live in, plus a park, plenty of pedestrian paths and places for folks to ride their bicycles. Finally, these also offer numerous shops and other forms of inexpensive entertainment.
This is a perfect example of a Master Planned community, where all aspects of living are taken into account during the planning phase.
The rents and mortgages for Twelve and Metro on 16th start out at a low of $1150/month.

Now that you know how well Atlanta is doing these days, let’s take a look at some history.
You probably know that most cities in the South were hit hard during the Civil War. Well Atlanta was certainly no exception. This place was razed! General Sherman’s Army left only 400 structures standing in the whole city.
Of course you have heard how the Phoenix is able to rise from the ashes…well, this is the power of Atlanta. Would you believe that within only 5 years after this event, Atlanta had rebuilt itself so much that the city had doubled in size. Now, that is downright amazing! This truth is proudly displayed in the city’s emblem of the Phoenix bird rising from a root of its own ashes.
Keep this in mind when you look into making your home in this incredible location.

Kings Play Chess On Fancy Glass Stools
Condominium towers are sometimes built in groups. This time, the location is Wildwoods. Here, near I-75 at the edge of town, we have fresh new buildings glistening with the latest in blue-grey shiny plexiglass. Out in the front common garden area are a batch of fresh young trees.
There are choices among these. One option is inside of Atlanta, albeit just barely. There are two towers of this type.
The others are in Marietta, GA which is very nearby.
Both are designed to be fairly quiet and removed from the hustle of downtown and the noise of traffic. Of course, being strategically located near to the highway, these places are set up for fast, efficient commuting.

Here’s another sample piece of real estate. However, this one is out in suburbia, in the town of Lawrenceville, one of the healthy communities surrounding Indianapolis.
This is a two story white house with black shutters. The lot is most likely half and acre, with a full two car garage.
It is spacious and tasteful, while remaining modest.
When looking for a home in Atlanta this one is an excellent choice for the modest investor: it is affordable yet classy with stone slate floors and granite counter tops.
The three bedrooms make it big enough for a family and very roomy for those without children.
The look and feel of this home make it a great opportunity at a highly affordable price. Jot down that address, if this one calls out to you.

Here’s something virtually unheard of: a condominium apartment in the opulent Buckhead neighborhood at under $200,000!
For you, the secret: 801 Summit North Drive NE is the address. It is in Piedmont Heights within Buckhead making deeply within the city of Atlanta.
This place is 1400 square foot two bedroom; most likely it is close to the ground given the price.
Its one thing to ask your realtor to show you around; it another to tell him or her where to take you.

Today’s real estate is coming from closer to the top, down. There is a master planned 1100 acre, two neighborhood set being developed called Le Jardin.
This is a whole different ‘ball game’, in that beautific visions of public gardens and private expanisve estates are a centerpiece that describes the whole attitude of Le Jardin. The whole place is upscale, and subdivided into ‘the lesser and the greater rich’ by neighborhoods. There is a wonderful assortment of trees along with gardens, artworks and so many services that you should feel like you have gone to heaven without having to die in order to get there.
If you can’t come close to affording it, then hopefully you can still get to the city’s botanical gardens and get something of the same feeling Le Jardin is focusing on.

Atlanta’s real estate market is growing and it is diverse. There is a bustling urban movement and the condominiums vary from glistening new creations to reputable stand bys.
The homes available really do run an impressive spectrum from humble dream homes within the the tens of thousands, both those built some time ago and ones that you can order pre-fab through a sturdy middle into places so pricey that most people faint off from the dizziness.
Gated, and other newly developing communities are available within the city’s limits as well as in the surrounding suburbs. Many of these offer the flexibility to choose from a selection of floor plans instead of having no choice, or to make your own design.
Tomorrow, more examples, but today, a fresh overview.

I promised that today we would get back to the real estate itself. Well, our example location today is the new 364 unit Uptown Square condominium complex in the heart of Atlanta.
The market is facing two opposing forces right now: moving in one direction, there is a glut in the condominium area so even though popular interest in strong, it is not rapidly increasing. Luckily for Atlanta however, there is a major trend of more people choosing the urban lifestyle over the suburban commuter style. Thanks to this, these homes may find all their needed dwellers.
