Housing for the ‘lower middle class’ in Atlanta by Miriam Pia
Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006The Greater Atlanta housing market is naturally unique. The current market is designed to attract middle middle class and more upscale people to the area.
However, even though ‘the rest of us’ or ‘the rest of you’ may not feel all that catered to by this, there is good news. One quarter of the city’s housing is designed for lower income people. As we have seen so far, the options range from manufactured homes through apartments, and houses, even fully detached houses with fine lawns.
It is important to not ‘give up hope’ if you feel like a ‘small fish’ when searching for a home. You can still find a good neighborhood and a nice place. You can ask your Realtor to help you to shop by price.
As previously mentioned; this blog is for all levels of consumers.
