Atlanta’s Autumn Home Show 2006

Friday, June 2nd, 2006
One way to get a good view of Atlanta is to attend the Home Show.  The next one is coming up at the end of September, September 28-October 1, 2006 to be exact.  If you have ample time and are still looking around, then this can be another way you can gauge the real estate market and get a feel for the area.  Scheduling a visit to such an event will put you in a strong position to further investigate a relocation.

The tickets for the Home Show are $10 for adults, $3 for children aged 6-12 years old, and people under 5 years old are welcome gratis.  If you don’t know ‘gratis’ is just means at no charge.

You can also access 24 hour information to get your tickets from the following number: 770-798-1997.

Seeing as it is just the start of June, if you are looking to relocate within one year, for example, this provides you with sufficient time to plan for your journey, money saving and all.

3 Homes at 1 Price: $180K in Atlanta Herself

Thursday, June 1st, 2006
Welcome to the Atlanta Real Estate Homes Guide!  We aim to provide both obvious information and ‘hard to find facts’ about the real estate market in Atlanta

Today we’re looking at some less expensive homes, but each of these is, as it says above, at the same price and is really within Atlanta.

There is a delightful 4 bedroom on Fountain Drive that is for sale.  The house has one fireplace.  The exterior is a combination of red brick areas and other zones have wooden siding.  The house has a small feeling from the outside.  In addition to the strength of the brick, the main attractions to this one are the long driveway with rear parking lot and the sizeable lot.

There is another, more completely brick cottage over at 1004 Westmoor Dr..  Unlike the one we just looked at, this one is brick on all 4 sides.  Another major difference is that this one is placed on a rather small lot.  Here we have more of an urban feel; this is a charming cottage in a peaceful yet distinctively residential neighborhood.  Finally, this is a 3 bedroom place, rather than having 4.

Here comes our final of the trio today.  This one is a ranch style house, which immediately gives it a different feeling from the other two.  It offers 3 bedrooms in its own way, and there are some mature trees on the lot.  It is set back from the road: making 2 of the 3 with this characterisitic.

The good news is this: you are not limited to one type by price.  The other main joy here is that you can find an already built home that is in very good condition for under $200,000, which for many of you comes as a tremendous relief.
