Another List of some of Atlanta’ Lofts
What makes a loft just that? As previously mentioned high ceilings have a lot to do with it. There are two types of loft apartment buildings, the kind that are built that way and the kind that are transformed from whatever it was they had been before.
One of the loft buildings in Atlanta that was ‘born as loft apartments’ is Copenhill Lofts. It is nestled into a beautfiul area within Atlanta and the front is surrounded by some lovely mature trees.
The others are all different. One is delightful in its amusing innocence in that it has a GIANT sign on the roof that says exactly and only that. It is a low, 4 story or so squarish, red brick, industrial looking building with gargantuan windows. Doubtless, these are fantastic for studio artists and for those who love to grow lots of interior window houseplants.
At 330 Peters St. right in Atlanta proper there is another new experiment in Lofts. This one is a converted department store, so the large columns have been integrated, offering a distinctive alternative design within the apartments.
Finally, on today’s survey, there is 60 unit place called A&P that has come into what used to be a warehouse and a bakery.
Lofts are ideal for those who are undeniably industrial- as industrial as 90’s music by the same name, modern and imaginative. Loft apartments are that blend of daily real-life and off the wall creativity that alleviates boredom or troubling thoughts. So, if you a modern, urban creature, then your big move could be to just such a place.
