This neighborhood is unargueably the hip spot for the middle aged middle class crowd. Don’t get me wrong, you can be young and still like it, or retired and love it, but this popular locale harbors cafe’s and art galleries but lacks the noise of Little 5 Points Friday nights.
Instead of tattoo parlors you can easily find vintage clothing. In fact, Virginia Highland is a dream come true for those who like specialty shops. The neighborhood is divided into six sections of retailing, but all are connected.
If you are modern or post modern, you will love this area. It is so popular, however, that we’d predict that no matter who you are, you will like it. Still, this is a fabulous place to spend a warm afternoon whether it is to shop with your best friend, or to dream up the latest in hot poetry.
